How does Jesus’ birth bring great joy to the world?
1 Peter 1:8-9 “Though you have not seen him, you love him; and even though you do not see him now, you believe in him and are filled with an inexpressible and glorious joy for you are receiving the end result of your faith, the salvation of your souls.”
Thank you Lord, for the great joy that our Savior’s birth brings!

Feeling like you’re running a triathlon on roller skates this season? Why not help steady yourself with focusing on the gifts of the Fruit of the Spirit, one per day, each day until Christmas?
Over the course of the next few days, weave the “fruit of the day” into your conversations with your family. If you have children or grandchildren, teach and talk to them about that fruit, and what it looks like in your daily lives.
Ask them to site examples of how Jesus beautifully displayed each day’s fruit for us.
Looking up scripture together regarding the day’s fruit, is a great way for your family to get in to His word together.
Day 2’s fruit is “Joy.”
Galatians 5:22-23 “But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, forbearance, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness and self-control.”
Joyful blessings to you, Tanya Phillips
