First Scripture Read on Moon 50 Years Ago

Did you know that one of the first acts that occurred when our brave astronauts landed on the moon 50 years ago was Buzz Aldrin reading scripture, John 15:5, and taking Holy communion; the body of Christ. Buzz Aldrin acknowledged and knew that none of that would be possible without our Supreme Creator, Yahweh.

Neil Armstrong acknowledges Jesus. Neil Armstrong was the first person on that mission to step foot on the moon. As his foot touched the powdery surface he declared “That’s one small step for man, one giant leap for mankind.” 25 years later, Neil visited the old city of Jerusalem. He asked his host if Jesus himself actually would have walked right where he was walking at that moment. The answer was yes. Armstrong stated “So Jesus stepped right here?’   “That’s right,” answered his host.  Neil then stated “I have to tell you, I am more excited stepping on these stones than I was stepping on the moon.”   Neil was giving glory and honor to walking in the same steps where Jesus Christ, our way to Heaven, our Creator had walked.

Joy Seekers

Joy seekers!
Friends, do you feel depleted of one of God’s gifts that He has blessed us all with the ability to have?
Could it be that we are sabotaging our own ability to His precious gift of Joy?
We spend so much time looking down with our noses in our smartphones. So much time that we have forgotten to look up and appreciate the simple things in life that do bring us actual, true joy.
Like telling a joke. When is the last time you told or heard a joke? What is the end result of a joke? LAUGHTER my friends! What does laughter bring? JOY! I am not talking about reading a joke to yourself off your smartphone. I am talking about sharing a single moment with another human being that comes from sharing a joke together. The eye contact, the captive audience, the punch line, and the shared moment of the sound of laughter vibrating in your souls together. This single moment can provide your depleted soul that necessary medicine it so desperately needs ~ JOY!
So…why not take a minute and order up some joy with a side a laughter for yourself and others today; go tell someone a good [clean😉] joke!
Proverbs 17:22 Laughter is good medicine….

Mark 11:24 Therefore I tell you, whatever you ask in prayer, believe that you have received it, and it will be yours.

Your Value In Your Home
Are you having a day where you feel like you have no value in your home? Like, what is the point!? Everyone is grumbling; kids, the spouse, the hamster…. You are trying to display the Fruit of the Spirit, but is anybody listening? Do they even notice or care? What am I doing this for?
God cares my friends. God sees your fruit and your efforts. He knows you are trying and your willingness to be His vessel in your home will be rewarded, if not on earth, but in our Heavenly home one day.
We may never know what seeds we have planted. We may never know if or how we have watered seeds that were already planted. But is it really for us to know?
If we are truly desiring to be God’s vessel, to be used by Him in every facet of our lives as a parent or spouse, who’s Glory is it? Ours or our Heavenly Father’s?
Our blessed role is to get up in the morning, get on our knees and ask our Lord God “How can I be your hands, feet and mouth today Lord? What can I do for you today? Please make me and mold me in to the person you would have me be today. I pray for all divine appointments. I pray that you help me be the just right parent to each child that I have an opportunity to minister and love today. I pray that I am the just right spouse to my significant other that you have blessed me with today. Thank you Lord, for an opportunity to be Jesus in the flesh to each person that I encounter today in my household, whether it be in person, on the phone, or through text. Help me make a difference for Your Kingdom today and may you receive all of the honor and glory for it. Thank you Lord, In Jesus’s name, Amen.
*Empty me of me God…Less of me, more of You Lord.
